Alternatives › Ultralight

Ultralight brings the data together. Wellpro moves each patient toward their goals.

Ultralight and Wellpro are both AI-native platforms for functional, integrative, longevity and concierge practices. Wellpro is also outcome-native: every lab, wearable reading and action is tied to a goal, and memberships and billing run in the same record.

Let’s talk
The short answer

Which one fits your practice?

Ultralight is a strong fit

If your priority is seeing labs, diagnostics and wearable data trended in one view, with protocol libraries for supplements, IVs and peptides, and you are happy to run memberships and billing in Hint.

Wellpro is the better fit

If you want one system for all of it: each patient’s goals and a living care plan, the patient app, Flows for your own care pathways, and memberships and billing in the same record. That covers functional, integrative, longevity, precision, concierge and direct primary care practices today, and primary care and specialty practices that bill insurance, who can start alongside their current system now while insurance billing and claims are coming soon.

The real difference

What each system is built around.

Every health record is built around something. Ultralight, formerly Vibrant Practice, launched its platform in 2025. It is built to synthesize: labs, advanced diagnostics and wearable data trended over time, an AI scribe, a clinical co-pilot and protocol-based plans for supplements, IVs, peptides, nutrition and lifestyle. Memberships and billing run in Hint, which Ultralight connects to. Hint holds the patient profile, and membership and payment status flow from Hint into Ultralight.

Wellpro is built around the patient’s goals. We call this outcome-native. Each patient’s goals map to clinical goals. Each clinical goal carries the actions that serve it, like labs, prescriptions, supplements, therapies and referrals, and the measures that show whether it is working: lab markers, wearable data and what the patient reports. The care plan is the center of the record, and the membership is built around it, in the same system.

That plan stays alive between visits. As results, wearable data and check-ins come in, Wellpro suggests changes to the plan and your clinicians approve them. Thrive, the patient app branded for your practice, shows each patient today’s steps and their progress toward each goal.

Seeing the data is the start. Moving each patient toward their goal is the job.

Wellpro started in October 2024 and was designed AI-native and outcome-native from the ground up.

One system

Your chart in one system and your memberships in another. Or Wellpro.

When the chart and care plan live in one system and memberships and billing in another, your team works in two systems and keeps them in sync. In Wellpro, the chart, the care plan, orders, labs, messaging, Thrive and memberships and billing share one record, so what a patient pays for and the progress they make sit side by side.

Flows

Describe a workflow. Wellpro runs it.

With Flows and Care Orchestration, your practice builds its own care pathways and clinical and admin workflows by describing them in plain language: a new-member onboarding sequence, a 12-week retest cadence, a peptide protocol check-in, a renewal process. Wellpro’s AI agents carry out each step for every patient it applies to: sending messages, queuing orders for approval, scheduling follow-ups and flagging what needs a clinician. Your team steps in where judgment is needed.

AI-native

Five questions to ask any AI-native EHR.

  1. Is it built around structured goals, actions and measures? AI can only act on what the system understands.
  2. Does the AI do the work, or only suggest it? Drafting the note, the summary, the care plan updates and the orders, with your clinicians approving.
  3. Does the AI work between visits? Noticing new results and check-ins, suggesting plan changes and handling routine messages under your rules.
  4. Is the AI everywhere, or in a few features?
  5. Was it designed this way from the start, or added to an existing record?

Memberships and billing

Memberships and billing, built in.

Membership revenue is the business model for most of the practices we serve, so Wellpro runs it in the same record as the chart and the care plan. There is no second system to keep in sync.

Everything you sell

Monthly, quarterly or annual memberships, fixed-term programs paid in full or as a deposit plus installments, prepaid packages, à la carte services and included services with rollover and expiry.

Families

One guarantor, age-based pricing and a family maximum, with each member’s balance kept separate.

Enrollment from one link

The plan, a personal price, your agreement, forms and payment in one link. The membership turns active when the patient signs, pays and finishes their forms.

Billing that runs on its own

Charges on schedule, automatic retries and card-update links, pause, resume and cancel under your agreement terms.

Every way patients pay

Cards, HSA and FSA cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank debit. Your practice is the merchant, payments pay out to your own bank, Stripe is built in, and Wellpro can work with other merchant services and processors.

Know your numbers

Monthly recurring revenue, active members, churn, past-due balances and aging, renewals, and payouts reconciled to every charge.

Priced from the plan

When the care plan calls for it, turn it into an offer: a program, a membership with included services or a package, priced from your own catalog.

Coming soon

Employer billing, insurance claims and Wellpro AI billing reports.

Insurance practices

Bill insurance? Start alongside now.

Insurance billing and claims are coming to Wellpro, and we are building them with a small group of primary care and specialty practices. If you bill insurance today, your clinicians can work in Wellpro for charting, care plans and follow-up while your current system keeps handling claims. Tell us how you bill, and we will talk about working together.

Switching

Switching from Ultralight.

We move you over with white glove migration, setup and training. We migrate your patient records and protocols, bring your members and plans across from Hint, set up your care plans, and train your team. Most practices are live in weeks. Your protocols stay private to your practice, and patient data is never used to train AI models.

Questions

Questions practices ask.

What is the best Ultralight alternative for a functional or longevity practice?

One built around the outcome the patient is paying for. Wellpro connects each patient’s goals to a living care plan, tracks progress between visits in a branded patient app, and runs memberships and programs in the same record.

Is Ultralight AI-native?

Ultralight describes itself as an AI-native EHR, and it is a newer platform, launched in 2025. Wellpro started in October 2024 and was designed AI-native and outcome-native from the ground up. The five questions above are a fair way to compare any two systems.

What is the difference between AI-native and outcome-native?

AI-native describes how the software is built. Outcome-native describes what it is built around: each patient’s goals, the actions that serve them and the measures that show whether they are working. Wellpro is both.

Does Ultralight handle memberships and billing?

Ultralight connects to Hint for memberships and billing. Hint holds the patient profile, and membership and payment status flow into Ultralight. In Wellpro, memberships, programs, packages and billing are built into the same record as the chart and the care plan.

Does Ultralight have care plans?

Yes. Ultralight offers protocol-based plans for supplements, IVs, peptides, nutrition and lifestyle. In Wellpro, each patient goal maps to clinical goals, each with its actions and measures, and the plan updates as results, wearable data and check-ins arrive between visits.

Can we build our own workflows and care pathways?

Yes. With Flows, you describe a care pathway or a clinical or admin workflow in plain language, and Wellpro builds it. Wellpro’s AI agents then carry out each step for every patient it applies to, such as sending messages, queuing orders for approval, scheduling follow-ups and flagging what needs a clinician. Your team steps in where judgment is needed.

Can Wellpro replace both Ultralight and Hint?

Yes. Wellpro includes charting, an ambient scribe, care plans, orders, e-prescribing, labs, messaging, telehealth, Thrive and memberships and billing in one system. We migrate your records and protocols, and your members and plans from Hint.

We bill insurance. Can we use Wellpro?

Yes, alongside your current system. Insurance claims are coming soon to Wellpro. Today, your clinicians can work in Wellpro while your current system keeps handling claims, and Wellpro exports superbills and CMS-1500 forms from the signed note.

See the difference in your own practice.
